R STUDIO REVIEW WINDOWSJust select R Tools > Windows > R Interactive at any time. I gave it a rating because I had to in order to write a review. You can use the R Interactive window without having any projects open, and even when a different project type is loaded. I am a business major right now and that is who matters here, the customer! R-Tools is a poorly ran company that I think should be upfront and honest and they are clearly not! C.A.Varco. R STUDIO REVIEW SOFTWARESo the following day I called and left a new message (because no one will ever pick the phone up!) referring to this "number" and never received anything back from R-Tools! No call back, no email correspondence, no nothing!! So my review of this software program is that it intentionally lies to you to get you to buy in and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone for any kind of recovery or for anything else. Or what I like to call, a SCAM! And when I called and left a message all I could get through to was an answering machine! After numerous calls (for days) I finally left my message trying to resolve this issue and I then received an email from R-Tools stating that I needed to reference some "number" when corresponding with my order. The purchase went fine but then all of a sudden the software/program wouldn't recover my files that "it had" previously showed me! So basically I just spent 54.99 for absolutely nothing. Being that what I wanted to recover was bigger than a certain size, I needed to purchase the software. R STUDIO REVIEW DOWNLOADBoy was I wrong! I think the product/software is a total scam! Once you download the free version the program will show you what you "supposedly" can recover. I was looking for a program to rescue some school files that I had literally 'just' accidentally deleted and came across what looked to be a promising solution. ![]() But really, I guess the review is for the company all together. My review of this particular software is for the R-Tools R-Undelete portion of this product. R STUDIO REVIEW PROFESSIONALIf this doesn't work you are going to need to send it in to a professional place for data recovery.Īgain, what I started with was a SSD that was encrypted and had a folder with about 200 Gb disappear! The drive seemed to work ok except for all my missing data in that one folder - crazy scary and frustrating!! If you have a hard drive with precious files on it and it goes down - strongly recommend this software as the first option. I would buy the software again in a heartbeat. Cannot recommend enough and got the job done really well. It was unable to recover 2 files and that was fine! I have a previous backup that probably has these files.Īnyway, long and short, OUTSTANDING software. R STUDIO REVIEW WINDOWS 10Turn the sleep feature off in windows 10 through your operating system. Also, your screen saver should be turned off and you should have the computer set to where it doesn't go to sleep. I did have to click a few buttons because it gave me a message about file attributes along the way. I then instructed it to recover the contents onto a new SSD, which it did - took another 2 hours or so. It found my missing folder and all its subfolders. The software ran a scan on my problem drive. The software was slick - I ran it on my plugged in SSD on a windows 10 machine and I had another new SSD plugged into a second USB port. I paid for it and pasted in the crazy long key into the appropriate field and got started with the paid version right away. If you are still reading I was really impressed with how it all went. Gave the impression of a dodgy piece of software. Now the reviews on here were a bit misleading and some were downright dissuading. Here is the confusing part - I looked for this and found a stats package called R with the same name! A little further looking found R-Tools. Needless to say after the shock and horror I called around and found a couple of places out of state that could recover the data - but being a poorish school teacher they suggested before sending it in to try R-studio. I could still access the drive and all the other folders with about 100 gb were fine and I could access them - no problem. This is about 10 years old (in 2021) and I have an old work computer that suddenly went out on me.and corrupted a folder with about 200Gb of data. I have an encrypted 500 gb T1 SSD from Samsung. ![]()
